I have something on my mind that is really eating at me....I have just found out that someone has taken my work without asking me and using them as they wish. I don't know where to start when talking about this b/c I try really hard to keep my prices reasonable then when I find out someone has done that it really peeves me off. One thing is I do what I love for a living but it is also an income for my family- so on one hand I love to take pictures but on the other it's our only source of income since my husband is unemployed right now. When someone does this I get filled with all kinds of emotion. I would just like someone to ask me or buy the rights. Believe it or not I have gone into homes and seen my work that was not printed by me!!! Really!!....then those people are asking me to come back and take more!!?!! What bothers me too is that what is printed on the wall is probably really poor quality so if someone asks who took that picture....my name is on that crappy print on their wall!! Plus could they just spare the difference in the 10.00 high quality 8x10 print vs. 2.99 poor quality print!!! Anyhow....blowing off some steam. Just for everyone...please respect my work and at least ask to use an image or buy the rights. Also, thanks to everyone that is and has been respectful & sorry some ruin it for others. Truly disappointed!!
