Matt & Sarah wed!
Sunday, November 29, 2009, 10:42 AM

Matt & Sarah were my last wedding of the year. They sure had a great day with great weather! Sarah was such an easy bride to work with which I was so glad.

That day my second shooter Jenn and I had some technical difficulties that with a different bride could of been a disaster. When we arrived everything went as planned but Jenn and I both were having problems with our flashes not working.
So we fiddled with them, changed the batteries (which we both knew were fully charged b/c we had done that the night before) and tried another back up one which did the same thing....one flash then nothing. So as the day was going so fast we didn't have time to fiddle with them anymore and had to pull out our primes to shoot the day as it unfolded. Which wasn't a problem...I love my prime but I was terrified if we didn't have a flash out of the 3 of them by the reception.

Finally right before the ceremony it was a miracle as all flashes started to work again. I am not sure if the church had too much of a stray voltage or something to make the flash not fire. It was bizarre and nothing I want to get my heart rate up about again!!
Anyhow, Sarah knew about the situation and was totally trusting us that everything would turn out okay which it did...I am thankful for that:)
They have the best, caring, close parents and family. Everyone was very kind to us. I was so happy Matt & Sarah's wedding was my last of the year as it ended with a bang!
Here's a few of their day:
