Welcome to Remember When Photography!
Quick Shot Location Examples
Tuesday, October 28, 2008, 7:16 PM
I have had lots of questions about my Quick Shot Special so I thought I would post some Q&A to clear up any confusion.
Cost that day? 50.00, I will mail you the cd with released copyrights form. Minimum of 5 poses, high resolution. What if it's cold? Chances are it will be....dress children accordingly. If you are doing vests please plan on layering long sleeved items under. Also, remember it's very cute sometimes to do hats and gloves or mittens if they cordinate with the outfits. With it only being 15 minute sessions it should be okay but some children get cold very fast so be prepared!! What if it is snowing hard or raining? We will reschedule. I will get with everyone that morning by 8:00am. So check your emails or voicemails that morning. I have a few Sundays I can work with if need be. What if I just my my children photographed and not adults? Great...just let me know. Do you have slots still available? Yes, I have November 8th-9, 9:30, 9:45, 10:15. Several on the 22nd. If you have another slot and would like to switch times let me know.
Where is the exact location? Will be in Hastings. As far as meeting place and exact location and buildings....I will be emailing everyone by the 3rd. Not exactly sure at this time. What exactly does Urban session mean? Here's some urban examples, one of these locations may be the place. I am really not sure myself right now...it all depends on lighting. Let me know if you have more questions...just leave a post on the blog if you could that way others that may have that same question can get them answered. Thanks!
Wedding. Lucas & Ashley
1:20 PM
I think I would need a whole day to be able to post all I want to say about Lucas & Ashley's wedding but since I have about 10 minutes I will do all I can:) I met Ashley when she was referred to me by some faithful clients...Amanda & Ron (thanks guys!!). I knew from hearing about all Ashley had planned for their fall wedding that it was going to be so nice. I personally don't like fall b/c I know it means colder weather is on it's way but this fall day was so beautiful. They really remembered all the small details. Here are a few that I just quickly decided to post but would love to post many, many more!!
The wedding and reception took place at Bowen Mills.....absolutely beautiful!!
I love Ashley's face when she saw one of the boys in the wedding for the first time!

Lucas looking good
Ashley looking breathtaking
I wondered if at this moment Lucas was having doubts about a certain in law:) (Ron gave me a hard time that day so it's only fair)
The flowers.... so bright and beautiful
Walking down the aisle as Mr. & Mrs. Wolton!!
Some of the shots after the wedding
At the reception they had candy apples for the center pieces...how cool is that. Also, people could take them for their favors.
One of the speeches ....look at that head table!!
Father daughter dance was a tear jerker....her dad was saying that he remembers taking her to a dance when she was just a little girl
Thank you guys for allowing me to capture your day. I had a great time and the details and colors really made me enjoy the fall weather:) More to come soon in your gallery.

This was a bittersweet session b/c Hollis is done with my newborn agreement plan. So as excited I was to take their pictures then again I am hoping it will not be the last b/c once I start the newborn plan with someone it's like I have known them forever. Plus... I get to watch their children grow which I love. Also, this was the first time that Maryanne talked Jason into getting a family picture taken. Here's some of my fav's:
We started out letting the kids swing
I love this one of Cadence...she always gives me the funniest faces!
I love this barn next to their property
Hollis and his mommy I have to admit I think both of my eyes were closed when I took this picture b/c I was so scared and now looking at it I see why......holey cow that's high!!!:) Awhh...this picture just melts my heart. I love when dad's play with their kids and I think it's b/c my dad didn't play much with me so I just love seeing it!! I am not sure if Cadence wanted me to throw her leaves or jump on her lap and get in the picture:) sister and brother love! mom and dad tickling Hollis looking so cute! I wanted to add this one just to show it is possible to have fun during a photo session and by the look on his face there's no denying it:) Thank you guys for doing the newborn plan with Cadence and Hollis it was so great to meet you guys and watch them grow. You guys are great to work with...you guys rock!!:)

If you recall from earlier blogs I shot Ben and June's engagement pictures this summer. They called me up and asked if I would take some of Ben's side of the family. This family has had it's struggles in the last couple of years so to do an updated family picture was my pleasure. Shortly after meeting them we realized that they knew my grandparents and know my dad. Weird how that works... huh. I think all the time that God sents people to me or for me to meet for a reason and I am so glad that this family was one of them. Here's a few of my fav's:
Awhhh..I can't explain how much this makes me feel their love!
I love to do these kinds of shots b/c they are great for cards or gifts...when you want to see everyones face.
Mom and Dad...looking cute as ever! The whole gang
Mom with her boys Thank you guys for having me take your updated family pictures. Continue to have faith and may God bless your family!!

**Special-Quick Shots** I still have 9:30, 9:45 and 10:15 slots to fill for November 8th. Please let me know if you are interested in doing a session. More details can be viewed from the archive on the left. I was lucky enough to do Reece's 1 year pictures. He is close to Elsey's age so it's fun to see what boys are into at a year old. We started our session off at the golf course which is right across the road. After walking there we went back to their house and just hung out in the yard. Ann liked the color pictures and I agree. I am typically all about b/w but this time of year color is great also. Here are some fav's: They had a nice tree with some red leaves on it at the golf course. Also near some rocks....mental note: rocks+ mouth= not a good combo:) I am not sure what Reece was doing towards Tal but I think it is something between the boys:) Reece has great smiles! I find myself doing this way to much but everytime it's different depending on the childs expression....I think Reece likes when mommy and daddy give a kiss!:) Thanks guys for allowing me to take your pictures again. Enjoy your gallery.

I have worked with some great seniors this year and still have more bookings into November. The weather was great this day but the skeeters were terrible!! Jessica's mom asked a lady she didn't even know if we could borrow her yard and she said yes!! This shows there are very nice people out there that are willing to let people use their yards and property....just have to be brave enough to ask:) Jessica is doing more shots with the snow so there will be a part 2 coming soon! Here are a few of my favorites:

Jessica has a great smile!
She was really easy to talk to and get along with!
A few tree's had lost their leaves Thanks Jessica! I can't wait until the winter shots until then enjoy your fall gallery!
