I have known Connie since I did her son Davids senior pictures a couple years ago...she contacted me this year to do their family pictures. I was excited b/c they have not had their pictures taken since David was ONE!!! It was so needed. She said she is an avid reader of my blog which makes me happy since I never know who really reads my blog. We met in Belding and walked the town. Wow, Belding is my new favorite spot... so many buildings and great places for backgrounds. Here are a few of my fav's:

We found this great entrance for a business in a strip mall...how great is this?!

Love this building!!

Hello....and as if you didn't already notice Connie and Dave's daughter Lindsey is gorgeous!!

We drove over to a little park where they had many ball diamonds. Connie had told me they wanted a few shots there b/c her and Dave have spent lots of time there, David now plays and Lindsey & her boyfriend spend time there. I like when families incorporate who they are in pictures!

Thank you guys for having me take your pictures...I had a good time. You guys are a great family!

Wedding

Last weekend I shot Mike & Haley's wedding. I only met this couple a few months ago when she had emailed to ask if I was still available for her date.... I wasn't at the time but with a few nice families I switched it all around so I could be the photographer for Mike & Haley's big day. I am very thankful that I was able to be part of their day. They had their wedding in Bryon Center then a tent reception on their property. The whole day was beautiful...weather, bride/groom, ceremony, details & reception! The only thing I would of changed if I could was during the reception my camera broke....my 40D! Luckily, I did have my trustee 20D backup and trustee second shooter Jenn! Here are a few of my favorites:

The last minute touches...

Mike & Haley decided to see each other before the ceremony. I suggested they set aside time one on one to have a moment. This is the first time Mike saw Haley....

We broke into some bride & groom shots! Haley looking magazine perfect...

Looking great

We had some extra time so we headed outside of the church so the girls could get some sassy shots!
Guys did the casual look:)
The white tent reception on their property was beautiful!
The wedding party
Haley made sure they had some time alone on the property to take some shots....I am thankful for organized brides!!:)
The children of the wedding party being announced into the tent....cuties!

First dance as Mr. & Mrs.!!

Thank you Haley & Mike for asking me to capture your special day! I had a great time meeting your family and friends. The rest of your gallery will be online soon! God Bless you!

Let me just start out by saying once again... I am very blessed!! I met another wonderful family friday evening at the park in Lowell. We had lots of fun and laughs....they were great. The boys were full of energy and the parents were ready to play. I love when I go to a session and the parents are not afraid to interact with their children how they would if I wasn't standing right there with a camera. Spencer and Julie totally broke out the fun with the boys that night! Here are a few of my favorites:

They were smiles the whole evening!! What photographer could ask for anything better!

Mom and the boys
Dad and the boys

Terrick totally scared me with not having any fear. He was jumping off things, climbing up high & throwing rocks like no boy I had ever seen:)

Gavin was a little more shy and tried to be like brother... but just not as daring. Thank goodness!!

This really cracks me up b/c it's just such a real shot. I am not sure what was going on here but every time I look at this picture I can't help but giggle.

Thank you guys for having me capture this time for you! I really enjoyed myself. I will have more pictures for you to view on your gallery shortly.

I met the Redmans in Hastings for our photo session. I have been taking pictures of the Redmans since Erin was pregnant for Cailin....a little over 3 years ago!! It was interesting this time b/c so much has changed with their family...one is starting preschool, one is driving, one has a new job and one expanded with a new building for their company!! I was so excited to see them and hear all about what I had missed in the year we didn't see each other. Here are a few of my favorites:
Cutest Smile

Love this father-daughter bond!

I have taken pictures here before...love the background wall!

Big Squeeze!

We walked around town which I love to do with people and get some great backgrounds!

Thank you guys....I had a great time!

I got to spend the evening with some totally awesome people. I met Vicki and Rick back when they just had Hudson. I took his newborn pictures and then they decided to do the newborn agreement plan. When people agree to that plan it is so amazing for me b/c not only am I blessed to take pictures of their family... I also really get to know them. So once their newborn plan was done they continued to come to me and have also referred many people my way. A great friendship has bloomed. Here are a few of my fav's:

Hudson took some time from picking pears to see what mom and dad were doing....LOVE it!:)

Hudson was quite the harmonica player that night:)

I love this shot b/c it is such a boy...."who cares mommy has a baby in her belly but if I can drive my tractor up this baby bump that would be cool!"

How handsome is he?!!

He thought it was so funny sitting on the tree.
Hudson just sat on the rock like this and I placed Rick and Vicki around him...totally looks like I posed him like this but it's his own modeling:)
Thank you guys for having me out to your home again! I can't wait until that new baby arrives.
