Welcome to Remember When Photography!
Long time post
Tuesday, July 29, 2008, 8:43 PM
Wow, it has been a very long time since I have last posted. My site has been down since I switched web designers. My new web designer is so awesome that my site being down was well worth the wait. I will post a few of the session I have missed since last time as soon as I have time again. Here is one for the wait: Until next post:)

Last weekend I had this great family that were referred to me. From the moment I arrived I was greeted with fun & energy. The kids had so much fun with mom and dad it was so easy to take pictures. It is so hard for me to choose which one's to post. I am going to apologize now for all the pictures! The kids sell pretend ice cream out of their play-set. It is some of the best ice cream I have ever had and plus it's FREE!:)

He was trying to scare me....it sometimes worked:)

I love this one b/c it shows the real family. The family is together but still doing their own thing:) I love how he decides instead of being tickled like brother he would rather climb the side of the play-set. Same here...

Last weekend I went to Fallsburg to do a family session. I have done this family's pictures on two other occasions but they have a new addition since the last time. Here are a few of my favorites:

I was totally geeked when Katie and Tim contacted me asking me to take pictures again after doing their engagement pictures a few years ago. So I drove to their home on Friday night to take some shots of Katie in all her outfits for school. She is graduating from Grand Valley State University in August...how great is that!! What's a night without having the married couple get some shots. They are a great couple and I had a great time working with them. I picked a few but am disappointed I can't display them all:) Enjoy!
Katie said she practiced on Tim for school when listening to the heart...they are so cute!! Katie is such a smiley girl but she tried some of her serious looks Here she is in her lab coat Now on to the love birds.... Their family farm had so many cool spots I actually meant for this picture to turn out like this....I love it! What's more romantic than slow dancing in the corn field?! Thank you Katie and Tim I loved working with you guys again. It was great to see your home. Keep your love in sight and have faith in each other. Katie-Congrats on your degree, I know you will go far in your career.

Over the 4th I promised myself I would not do any sessions and I would only focus on family but my friend asked me to take their family pictures and I couldn't resist...plus we are close like family:) Here are a few from our day that started out a bit chaotic but ended splendid!!

Thank you guys for allowing me to take pictures of you over the 4th. It was fun to hang out!

I feel very blessed when I think of all the great people I have met through my photography. Last week I took Luke's 4 year pictures. I had taken Luke's pictures when he was 2 and remembered that he was such a smiley, playful boy. He is just as smiley and playful at 4:) Here are a few from my day with Luke:
We started out in Luke's room. He was excited to show me his slide bunk-bed and how his quads can go down them fast.
This is my favorite one of Luke. I think it's either the lighting or his innocence:)
Boys will be silly!

Then we headed outside. Luke had lots to show as he can now ride a bike without training wheels and can pump so high he almost touches clouds!! For some reason kids always want to show me their feet, which is ok b/c I love little toes!
Thank you for allowing me to take Luke's 4 year pictures. I had tons of fun and look forward to playing again!:)
